These Boots Were Made For Walking

I went for a 16 mile walk recently and put my new Xero boots to the test.

I can confidently say they are the BEST walking boots I’ve ever owned.

Xero Boots 16 miles in…

Here’s what I want from a walking boot:

  • Flexible material

  • Wide toebox - no ingrown toenails or rubbing

  • Zero drop sole - same height at heel and ball of foot

  • Some tread for slippy surfaces

  • Ankle freedom - I don’t like my ankles being restrained!

  • Waterproof without being sweaty.

  • ££ Reasonably priced.

We walked across frozen mud, frozen flooded fields, through frosty grass and defrosted puddles and along the towpath and pavement in town.

My feet remained dry and comfortable for the whole journey and felt fine the next day went for a 16 mile walk recently and put my new Xero boots to the test.

I did put my toe spreader socks on when I got home and wore them to bed more in anticipation of potentially sore feet.

My feet, legs and hips felt awesome the next day and I actually felt like I could do it all over again!

Would I recommend them? DEFO. Absolutely.
